All about my wedding – Wedding Venue – Brazilian Takes the World

Today I am going to tell you a little bit about my engagement, the planning of my wedding and of course choosing the wedding venue.

Me and my husband are together since the beginning of 2011, by the year of 2014, he got a job opportunity in the Netherlands, so he moved and I stayed in Brazil but we kept a long-distance relationship. On the New Year’s Eve of 2017 he surprised me with the most beautiful words, a gorgeous ring and we got engaged. We didn’t want to stay apart anymore, we planned our wedding for April of the same year, it was a really short engagement, little time and a lot to do until the wedding.

The first thing we decided was that we wanted a small wedding, just with the most important people of our lifes and that we were going to get married in our hometown, São Paulo. That was the kick off to choose the wedding venue, we started looking for places that did mini/small weddings for maximum of 150 guests, we checked several places on the internet and we really loved one place, the Espaço Quintal, so we scheduled a visit there.

Just as we entered, we fell in love with the venue, the things that we wanted fit perfectly in the Espaço Quintal, we wanted the ceremony in the same place of the reception. They had a beautiful space outside, an indoors dancefloor and we could fit our 150 guests. We didn’t want a traditional and formal wedding and this venue had a lot of special details. It was perfect for us!

We wanted our wedding in such a short time, specifically in April, we didn’t have a lot of choices on the week day, we ended up booking the venue for a Sunday afternoon.

It was perfect, the weather on our big day was sunny, but not too warm and with a beautiful sky. The wedding venue looked even more gorgeous with the decor that we choose, the white flowers and every little detail was just perfect.
