Best Spots in Atlanta (2018)

I realize this post is coming really late since we’re already in February of 2019, but I figured better late than never right? Here are my top favorite spots from last year and places I definitely recommend to you!

Eu sei que esse post vem veio tarde já que estamos em Fevereiro de 2019, mas eu percebi que era melhor postar tarde do que nunca, certo? Aqui estão os meus lugares favoritos do ano passado  de cada categoria e recomendo cada um deles para vocês!



Four Course Menu: Bacchanalia (amazing experience!)

Upscale Restaurant: Ecco, The Optimist and Atmosphere Bistro (I already have posts on the blog, check it out!)

Sushi: O-Ku (you are going to see that all my favorites restaurants already have posts on the blog!)

Southern Food: Revival (best fried chicken in Atlanta for sure!)

Brazilian Food: Buteco (you should definitely try the coxinha)

Poke Bowl: Upbeet (my favorite always, I still didn’t find any poke place that it is as good as Upbeet and I always get the Aloha Bowl!)

Indian Food: Chai Pani (you should get the Dahi Puri, it’s an explosion of flavors!)

Ethiopian Food: Desta Ethiopian Kitchen (if you never been there, please go, it’s amazing!)

Ramen: Ton Ton (I always get the Classic Ramen and Ginger Ale Jasmine Tea, it’s incredible!)

BBQ: Lovies BBQ

Korean BBQ: D92 Korean BBQ (the only one I tried but it’s amazing!)

Tapas: Bulla Gastrobar (love it, love it! Try the Sangria and the Huevos ‘Bulla”!)

Pizza: Antico (I love the atmosphere of the restaurant and of course the pizza is amazing!!)

Burgers: Grindhouse Killer Burgers, BGR and Henry’s (best mayo for me!)

Tacos: Rreal Tacos and Tacos la Villa (super cheap and great!)

Gyro: Pita Street Food (and a plus, their french fries are delicious!)

Bakery: Amélie’s French Bakery

Brunch: West Egg Cafe and Joy Cafe (I always get the Eggs Benedict)



Donuts: Sublime Doughnuts (favorite: Fresh Strawberry n Cream) and the classic Krispy Kreme

Ice Cream: Honeysuckle Gelato (Raspberry Sorbet is the best!) and Caffè Antico (just one word, Nutella!!)

Canolli: Varuni Napoli

Coffee: Dancing Goats



Spot to hang out with friends: Park Tavern and Victory Sandwich Bar (great sandwiches, beers and ping pong)

Best View: 9 Mile Station

Market: Ponce City Market (tons of food spots, shopping and the skyline at the top of PCM is amazing!)

Thing to do in ATL: Beltline and Piedmont Park (always something happening there and also every Saturday re-opening on March 30, the Green Market!)
