With all the craziness happening in the world, sometimes we just want a light and fun tv show to watch and forget what’s happening outside. So I’ve put a list of 10 tv shows on Netflix that will make you smile, and hopefully brighten your day. If you have any suggestions on shows I should add, sound off in the comments!

1. Queer Eye
My new favorite, it’s so fun and easy to watch! An all-new “Fab Five” set out to Atlanta to help some of the city’s people refine their wardrobes, grooming, diet, cultural pursuits, and home décor. They serve up hip tips, emotionally charged makeovers and heartfelt reveals that bring out all the feels.

A classic. A staple. A favourite! You don’t need to have watched the entire series to know Rory and Lorelei Gilmore’s life stories. They speak fast, fall in love a few times and meander around the aesthetically comforting town of Stars Hollow. Also the soundtrack is consistently pleasant and heightens the background viewing experience.

Winston is a competitive former athlete who, after realizing he will never become a pro, moves into the loft. Together with Jess’ best friend, Cece, they bond to form an unlikely, and dysfunctional, family.

8. Nailed It!
Home bakers who have a poor track record in the kitchen seek redemption – and cash – on this series. In each episode, three contestants try their hand at re-creating edible masterpieces. The projects don’t always turn out great, but whichever amateur baker comes closest to a successful dessert by the end of the episode takes home the $10,000 prize.
A competição mais divertida da Netflix, traz confeiteiros amadores para reproduzir obras de arte em formas de bolos, cupcakes, cookies e outras sobremesas. Apresentado por Nicole Byer, a série ainda tem o confeiteiro profissional Jacques Torres como juíz, e um convidado especial em cada episódio.
9. Glee
Optimistic teacher Will Schuester heads up McKinley High School’s glee club — New Directions — a place where ambitious and talented students can find strength, acceptance and their voice. As the students find themselves, they also enjoy a respite from the harsh realities of life. Mr. Schuester hopes to help the kids in every way he can, and also dreams of taking the group to nationals. As Schuester and the glee club pursue their goal, they face opposition from a conniving cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester, who tries to sabotage the group at every turn.

Not my favorite but a funny and light TV show that you can watch while doing other things. It is about a man who is burned out on life and love undergoes a mysterious treatment, only to discover that he has been replaced by a better version of himself.
Não é minha série favorita mas é divertida e leve, uma série que dá para assistir fazendo outras coisas.Empenhado em se tornar uma pessoa melhor, um homem decide começar um tratamento especial e descobre que foi substituído por uma nova e aperfeiçoada versão, revelando que seu pior inimigo é ele mesmo.
Extra: Modern Family (ABC or Hulu), not on Netflix but so fun and great to watch! Parents Phil and Claire yearn for an honest, open relationship with their three kids. But a daughter who is trying to grow up too fast, another who is too smart for her own good, and a rambunctious young son make it challenging. Claire’s dad, Jay, and his Latina wife, Gloria, are raising two sons together, but people sometimes believe Jay to be Gloria’s father. Jay’s gay son, Mitchell, and his partner, Cameron, have adopted a little Asian girl, completing one big — straight, gay, multicultural, traditional — happy family.

Extra: Modern Family (ABC or Hulu), não está no Netflix mas acho um série tão divertida que resolvi colocar aqui também! O dia a dia de três famílias ligadas entre si. Jay Pritchett é um homem mais velho que se casa com a latina Glória, muitos anos mais nova que ele. Os dois vivem com o filho dela, Manny, e convivem diariamente com os filhos do primeiro casamento de Jay: Caire e Mitchell. Ela é uma dona de casa casada com o corretor de imóveis Phil Dunphy e que luta para dar a melhor educação para os filhos Haley, Alex e Luke. Já Mitchell vive um relacionamento com Cameron Tucker, que tem como fruto a filha adotiva Lily.
