Here it go another 5 Random Things, I’ve been in quarantine for more than 3 months so a lot of the things are what I am enjoying at home! But also this month is about learning and educating myself, so make sure you check my recommendations for movies and books!
1. Capri Blue Volcano Reed Diffuser: I am a candle/incense girl, I love to have my house smelling good and feeling cozy, so this diffuser is amazing and it smells incredible! I love the Volcano scent from Capri Blue, I also have their candle that smells as amazing as the diffuser! The scent as they describe is a mix of tropical fruits and sugared citrus, for me, smells like a fancy tropical destination hotel!
2. Cosori AirFyer: we got it as a gift and we’ve been using a lot! At my parents house, they have so I have used before, but let’s say I didn’t do a lot of the cooking back home. So now that I’m the one cooking, I really like it! So easy, messy free and it makes delicious food!
3. Milk Duds: I know, so random! But I’ve tried it for the first time ever this month and I’m loving it! The chocolate is like fake chocolate, but in this case I really don’t mind. If you have not try it, please do!
4. Secret Essential Oils Deodorant: I have a really dry armpits (sorry if that’s too much information!), so this one did a great job on keeping it looking good and also I feel fresh the whole day. Also a great thing that it is more natural and it doesn’t leave any residue like other deodorants.
5. Milk Oolong Tea: one of the most amazing teas that I ever had! Last year we traveled to Asheville and went to the High Climate Tea Company, such an amazing tea shop and we tried this Milk Oolong Tea, we loved it so we had to buy it some to take home! It’s a little expensive but so worth it, and a little goes a long way!
Book – I am just finishing a book but my next ones that I want to read are: The Sun Does Shine by and White Fragility by Robin Diangelo.
Movie – Last weekend, I watched Just Mercy (Currently free to stream on Amazon Prime and on the Just Mercy website). It will tear you apart and then bring you back together again. It’s an incredibly powerful (true) story that follows Bryan Stevenson, a young civil rights lawyer, who moves to Alabama in the 80’s to defend men on death row, and one of his clients, Johnnie D, a black man who was accused of murdering a white woman and sentenced to death despite the fact that there was no possible way he could have done it.
Documentary – 13th (Netflix) is not easy and sometimes truly painful to watch but I truly believe that I need to get uncomfortable to learn and grow. The documentary argues that the mass incarceration of Black men in America is an extension of slavery. 13th refers to the 13th Amendment that states that slavery is unconstitutional. But there are exceptions to that rule, such as criminals.

Mais um 5 Coisas Aleatórias, estou em quarentena há mais de 3 meses, então muitas coisas são do que gosto de usar em casa! Mas também neste mês é sobre aprender e me educar, por isso, confira minhas recomendações para filmes e livros!
1. Capri Blue Volcano Difusor: Eu amo uma vela/incenso, adoro ter minha casa cheirosa e aconchegante, então esse difusor é incrível e tem um cheirinho maravilhoso! Eu amo o cheiro Vulcano da Capri Blue, também tenho a vela deles que cheira tão incrível quanto o difusor! Eles descrevem o aroma como uma mistura de frutas tropicais e frutas cítricas açucaradas, para mim, cheira a um resort chique na praia!
2. Cosori AirFyer: recebemos de presente e estamos usando muito! Meus pais têm na casa deles e eu já tinha experimentado mas digamos que eu não cozinhava muito quando eu morava com os meus pais. Mas agora que sou eu quem cozinho, eu realmente gostei! Super fácil, não suja e faz uma comida deliciosa!
3. Milk Duds: eu sei, super aleatório! Mas eu provei pela primeira vez neste mês e amei! Para quem não sabe o Milk Duds é um caramelo com chocolate em volta, o chocolate é daqueles bem baratex sabe? Mas neste caso, não me incomodou. Se você ainda não experimentou, por favor experimente (ou melhor não!).
4. Desodorante Secret Essential Oils: Eu tenho axilas muito seca (desculpa se isso é muita informação para você!), e esse desodorante foi ótimo para manter minhas axilas hidratadas e também me sinto cheirosinha o dia inteiro. É ótimo que é mais natural e não deixa resíduos como outros desodorantes.
5. Milk Oolong Tea: um dos chás mais incríveis que já tomei! No ano passado, viajamos para Asheville e fomos no High Climate Tea Company, uma loja de chá incrível e experimentamos o chá Milk Oolong, nós amamos então tivemos que comprar para levar para casa! É um carinho, mas vale a pena!

Filme – No final de semana passado, assisti o Just Mercy (atualmente disponível gratuitamente no Amazon Prime e no site Just Mercy).
