Here it go another 5 Random Things, I’ve been in quarantine for more than 4 months and with the Covid cases spiking up again here in the US, probably we will be home for a while more, so a lot of my favorite things for this month are what I am enjoying at home. Make sure you also check my recommendations for movies and books, stay safe and wear mask people!
1. PowerLix Milk Frother: THE BEST quarantine purchase ever! Seriously do a favor to yourself and get one of this! I was missing going to coffee shops and getting a great latte, with this milk frother you can do a delicious and creamy capuccino at home (I’m not getting pay any thing to say that, I promise)!
2. NYX Lip Oil in Sheer Berry: I’ve been loving this lip oil, if you haven’t tried it yet, the lip oil is a mixture of a lip gloss and a lip balm, it has that glossy look but at the same time it does hydrate the lips. And a plus that this one has a pretty pinkish color!
3. Pirouline Creme Filled Wafer, Chocolate Hazelnut: OMG this is so good, it’s been our guilty pleasure here at home, please try it (or better, don’t!).
4. Acne Treatment Differin Gel: I’ve been having a lot of cyst acne lately and this product is really the only thing that’s been helping my skin. It’s working really well for me but that doesn’t mean it will work for you, each skin is different. Also before you use, make sure you talk to your dermatologist.
5. Aperol Spritz: it is a very common cocktail in northern Italy but now you can find in almost any country, me and my husband call it as the “Summer Drink”, a proper Aperol Spritz tastes like summertime in Italy and looks like a golden orange sunset.
Restaurant in ATL – we’ve been ordering Poke Burri a lot during this quarantine, they have delicious poke bowls and also fun sushi burritos, if you have never heard of them or eaten their food, please check them out, probably my fav poke bowl place in the city!
Book – I’m reading the The Sun Does Shine by
Movie – I watched the movie Knives Out (Amazon Prime) last weekend and it’s great! It is a mystery film about the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey, where everyone in the wildly dysfunctional Thrombey family is a suspect and where the Detective Benoit Blanc must sift through a web of lies and red herrings to uncover the truth.
TV Show – I’m watching now Say I Do (Netflix), it does remind me of the Queer Eye but all about wedding. In this reality show, couples overcome obstacles to celebrate their love in surprise dream weddings designed by three experts in less than a week.

Mais um 5 Coisas Aleatórias, estou em quarentena há mais de 4 meses e com os casos Covid voltando a aumentar aqui nos EUA, provavelmente ficaremos em casa por mais um bom tempo, então muitas das minhas coisas favoritas para este mês são o que eu estou usando/fazendo em casa. Confira também as minhas dica para filmes e livros, se cuidem e por favor usem máscaras!
1. PowerLix Milk Frother: MELHOR compra dessa quarentena! Sério, vocês merecem comprar um desses para vocês mesmos! Eu estava sentindo muito a falta de ir em cafés e tomar um capuccino bem gostoso, agora com este batedor de leite consigo fazer um capuccino bem gostoso e cremoso em casa (não estão me pagando nada para falar isso, eu prometo)!
2. NYX Lip Oil in Sheer Berry: um produto que eu estou amando agora são esses lip oils, se você nunca usou um, eles ficam no meio entre um hidratante labial e um gloss, amo que ele hidrata a boca mas ao mesmo tempo tem o brilho do gloss e uma corzinha também!
3. Pirouline Creme Filled Wafer, Chocolate Hazelnut: meu deus, esses canudinhos recheados de Nutella são taaao bons! Experimentem, é maravilhoso (ou melhor não né?).
4. Acne Treatment Differin Gel: ultimamente, tenho tido bastante acnes internas e esse produto é realmente a única coisa que está ajudando minha pele. Ele funciona muito bem para mim, mas isso não significa que funcionará para você, cada pele é diferente. E também antes de usar, converse com o seu dermatologista.
5. Aperol Spritz: é uma bebida muito comum do norte da Itália, mas agora você pode encontrar em quase qualquer país, eu e meu marido chamamos de “Drink do Verão”, o Aperol Spritz tem gosto de verão na Itália e parece um pôr do sol lindo e dourado.
Restaurante em Atlanta – nós temos pedimos muito Poke Burri aqui em casa durante essa quarentena, eles têm deliciosos pokes e também divertidos burritos de sushi, se você nunca ouviu falar deles, você precisa experimentar! Provavelmente o meu lugar favorito de poke bowl aqui em Atlanta.
Livro – Eu estou lendo o livro The Sun Does Shine do uma história poderosa e reveladora de esperança, amor, justiça e poder de um homem que passou trinta anos no corredor da morte por um crime que não cometeu. É um livro difícil e triste de ler, mas vale muito a pena, eu super recomendo!
Filme – assisti no fim de semana passado o filme Knives Out (Amazon Prime) e adorei! É um filme de mistério sobre a morte do romancista Harlan Thrombey, onde todos na família Thrombey são suspeitos e onde o detetive Benoit Blanc deve examinar uma rede de mentiras para descobrir a verdade de quem matou Harlan Thrombey.
Série – eu estou assistindo agora a série Say I Do (Netflix), tem a mesma pegada do Queer Eye mas no mundo dos casamentos. Onde casais superam obstáculos para comemorar seu amor em casamentos de sonhos projetados por três especialistas em menos de uma semana.
